Program Participation

Program participation metrics provide you with data about employee engagement in the National DPP lifestyle change program. Increases in program participation metrics help improve return on investment (ROI).  

Examples of program participation metrics:

  • % of the population screened for diabetes and prediabetes
  • Total # eligible for the National DPP lifestyle change program
  • % Eligible who enrolled in the National DPP lifestyle change program
  • % Enrolled that reach various session completion milestones
  • Program completion rate
 

Health Outcomes

Measuring health outcomes lets you track changes in the health status of your workforce. Health outcome metrics produce data that help measure the impact of the National DPP lifestyle change program on employee health behaviors.

Examples of health outcome metrics:

  • Average body mass index (BMI): Females (#), Males (#)
  • Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c or A1C)
  • At least 5% weight loss
  • Aggregate physical activity data
  • Type 2 diabetes prevalence
  • Prediabetes prevalence
